Carpool Route (Front of School)
Entrance: Vehicles enter the campus from Post Road via the northernmost driveway.
Flow: Traffic follows a one-way loop indicated by yellow arrows. Vehicles travel toward the building, turn left to pass directly in front of the main entrance (labeled "Front of School"), and then follow the curve back toward the exit.
Exit: Vehicles exit the loop back onto Post Road using the same intersection point, which is managed as a right-in, right-out/left-out junction.
Bus Route
Location: A separate, large parking area is located on the southwest side of the school building.
Designation: This area is explicitly labeled as "Bus Drop Off." It is physically separated from the carpool loop to ensure student safety and efficient bus movement.
Drop Off Policy
Parents are welcome to drop off items throughout the day, however, we ask you to reach out to your child's teacher to let them know.
No outside food is permitted as a drop off.
Check Outs
When you arrive to pick up your student- Parents/Guardians are responsible for putting names in checkout list in Parent Portal.
We cannot take names over the phone or via email.

FAQ's
What are teacher recommendations based on?
Teacher recommendations are based on many things including, but not limited to, work habits, milestones scores, IReady data and overall grade in each subject.
How can my student take advanced classes?
Students should have the needed grades, milestones and IReady scores as well as teacher recommendations to set them up for success in Advanced classes. If your student does not have these things, it is best to take on-level classes.
Can I sign a waiver for advanced classes?
At VCMS we do not have a waiver form. We have a Course Consideration form that goes out during the course viewing window the first week of May. If you turn in a form we will review your students data points (mentioned above) and if needed, adjust accordingly.
Can my student take summer classes for High School credit?
FCS does not accept High School credit courses for students until after their 8th grade year.
Can my student change their connection classes?
We do not take requests for connection classes. The exceptions to this are Band and Chorus which are year long commitments.
