Club Description: DECA is an organization that encourages students to develop skills in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. DECA helps students by increasing leadership skills and confidence by providing experiences in which students can grow and show their professionalism. DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. Our guiding principles explain how we fulfill our mission by addressing what we do and the outcomes we expect. DECA enhances the preparation for college and careers by providing co-curricular programs that integrate into classroom instruction, applying learning in the context of business, connecting to business and the community and promoting competition. Our student members leverage their DECA experience to become academically prepared, community oriented, professionally responsible, experienced leaders.

Club Description: The VCMS chapter of FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) is open to all student athletes, friends of athletes, and anyone with any level of  interest in athletics.  Current involvement in playing sports is not a requirement to participate!   Club Meets Monthly.

Club Description:  Tome Society Jr. is a book club for students in grades 2-12. Students in club chapters read and discuss great books, create items to enter in literacy-based competitions, and participate in virtual and in-person literacy events. There are 12 books to read for the year from the “IT List.”  These activities include a book competition called Reading Bowl.  Meetings will be every other week.  See you there!

Club Description: Love strategy, competition, and collecting? The TCG Club is the perfect place to connect with fellow fans of trading card games. Whether you're into Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, or any other TCG, bring your cards and challenge your friends or make new ones! The club is open to all grade levels.

Club Description:  Science Olympiad, students will compete with other schools' teams in a variety of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) events that are categorized as study, build, or lab.  These events range from taking written tests on subjects like anatomy or geology to designing and constructing devices like bridges or robots and performing hands-on experiments. Teams of students prepare for these competitions through practice, research, and skill-building.

Club Description:  The Soccer Club is an after-school activity, open to students of all grades. We play competitive games against other middle schools in the county.

Club Description: The VEX IQ Challenge provides middle school students with exciting, open-ended robotics, engineering and research project challenges that enhance their science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) skills through hands-on, student-centered learning.

VEX IQ Challenge teams solve an annual game challenge by designing, building and programming a robot. Students work in teams to score points in teamwork matches and in the Robot Skills Challenge.

Club Description: The Jr. Beta Club is a national honor society for middle school students. We recognize outstanding academic achievement, promote character and leadership, and provide opportunities for students to serve their school and community.

Club Description: Dungeons & Dragons (D&D) is a tabletop role-playing game where players collaboratively create and guide characters through dangerous quests to search for treasure, battle deadly foes, and even carry out daring rescues in a fantasy world, guided by a Dungeon Master (DM). The DM acts as storyteller, referee, and narrator, describing the environment and other characters, while players make decisions and narrate their characters' actions.  Dice are used to resolve actions and introduce an element of chance into the game.
