Dear Parents and Prospective Players,

We appreciate your interest in the Lady Vipers’ basketball program and look forward to a great season. Below you will find information about physicals and the schedule for tryouts.

Physicals

Your child must have a current physical form on file before she will be allowed to participate in any of the activities listed below. The physical form can be found on the Athletics’ website, or it can be picked up in the front office. The athlete’s physical must be uploaded to dragonfly once completed by the physician. Physicals are due by Thursday, October 9.

Commitment

The basketball team practices or plays games every day of the week, Monday-Friday. Practices typically last one and a half hours and may be held before or after school. We play a 12-game season beginning in early November followed by a single elimination tournament in late January. No games or practices will be held during the holiday breaks. However, we do hold an occasional “open gym” during the breaks that we expect players to attend if they do not have a family obligation.

7^th Girls- 6:45-8:15 am

8^th Girls-4:30-5:45pm

October 15

7^th Girls- 6:45-8:15 am

8^th Girls-4:30-5:45pm

October 16

Both grades- 4:30-5:45 pm

All girls trying out need to wear a shirt with a number on it.

 

Team selections will be posted Thursday, October 16 on the Lady Vipers’ website after 7pm.

 

First Practice is Monday, October 20 from 6:45-8:15 am.
