Interdisciplinary Literacy

The Vickery Creek Middle School Interdisciplinary Literacy class is a 5th Academic class. The focus of the class extends student learning beyond a typical classroom experience.  We will do this by inspiring students to question, explore, and discover while providing experiences which are supplemental to content area standards.  Enrichment units of study are both Georgia Standards-based, incorporate science and social studies practices, and focus on important life skills, such as problem-solving, creativity, collaboration, and responsibility. The Forsyth County Learner Profile is used to guide our instruction.
